A California native, Scott Pratt
has performed throughout California and much of the United States.
He is a frequent solo and chamber recitalist in San Francisco and
the Bay Area and is on the piano faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory
of Music's Preparatory and Extension Division and is also on the music
faculty at Laney College in Oakland. In the San Diego Area, Scott
has been a soloist with the La Jolla Symphony, the North Coast Symphony,
and most recently with the New City Sinfonia playing the Chopin Concerto
in F Minor.

| He has been a four-time winner of the Musical Merit Foundation of Greater San Diego. The Musical Merit Foundation regularly sponsors Scott in recital. His teachers have included Mack McCray at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and Nina Svetlanova at the Manhattan School of Music. Scott is a member of the Music Teachers' Association of California and is currently President of the San Francisco Branch. |
