Membership in the Music Teachers' Association of California, San Francisco Branch is governed by guidelines set forth by the Music Teachers' Association of California. To qualify for MTAC membership, the applicant must etiher have a diploma (i.e. Bachelor of Arts or Music) or apply through the point system. Points are awarded for private study in musicianship with their major instrument or voice. Points are also awarded for solo or ensemble recitals. The total points will determine your acceptance as an active member or provisional member. Student membership and Business Affiliate membership are also offered.
