Pianist, Esther H. Chan
 
 
Pianist Esther Chan gave her first recital in San Francisco at the age of 14. As a winner of numerous competitions in the Midwest, she has performed many concerts in the area, including a performance at the Preston Bradley Hall in Chicago, a concert that was broadcasted over local television. In recent years, she has performed in Noontime Concerts, First Congregational Church, Star Classics, St. John’s Presbyterian Church as well as other venues in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her Bachelor of Music degree with Highest Distinction from Northwestern University and the Master of Music degree with High Distinction from Indiana University. Her principal teachers include Donald Isaak, Enrica Cavallo-Gulli, and Ted Blair. Ms. Chan is nationally certified by the Music Teachers National Association and is also an active member of the Music Teachers Association of California and the National Piano Guild. Her students have been prize winners in the MTAC-SF Piano Competition as well as the US Open Music Competition.
