Branch Honors Recital Criteria

• Students from level 1 and above are eligible for the Branch Honors recital.
• Students must pass both the written theory examination and the performance portion of the CM evaluation to be eligible for branch honors and/or convention programs.
• All pieces must be memorized and well performed with graded with a "5"on the piece chosen by the adjudicator. However, because of limited time and space, not all eligible students will be performing on the Branch Honors Recital. Priority will be given to students who are in the higher levels.
• The theory score must be 80% or higher although the passing score is 70%.
• Students must receive "good" or "excellent" ratings for both technique and sight reading.
